An excellent node set up addon that does exacty what it says on the tin, and does it exceptionally well.

As an old dog from before the world moved on, who lived through the era of the computers this set up emulates the display modes of, i can confirm that it creates a VERY authentic recreation of how the Spectrum, C64 and Amstrad would have displayed anything that you load up into it. From the colour clash of the ZX to the three colours per block chunky C64 multo colour mode. It's all here.

It's a bit of a niche and specific addon. But if what it does is what you're after you'll more than likely be impressed. I only stumbled on this addon by chance as i was tired of seeing the same suggestions over and over again (standard issue on any marketplace really) and this seems to have gone totally under the radar. This is a shame because for what it does it's absolutely superb. Run a video through it and lower the playback frame rate to 6fps, stick an AY3 or SID composition on it and you've got yourself some true nostalgic 80sness right there :)

Nicely done. I'd love to see some Atari modes added if this ever gets updated.

Thank you very much for that detailed and positive review! I'm glad you liked it :)
Please check out my IG (uri.inbar) for some videos I made with the newer, *much* improved version which incudes layers, blend modes, system fonts, masks and many other new features. You can contact me either there or at my email address, and I'll send you the new Blend file (for Blender 5)
