Can I use this on any camera?
Yes. Select any Blender camera and apply PimpMyCam from the N-panel.
What does the Sensor Width Animation do?
When enabled, the sensor width changes slightly during focus shifts, mimicking the subtle lens zoom effect on phone cameras.
What is the Ray Sampling Interval?
It controls how frequently (in frames) the focus is recalculated. A higher number gives a more jittery, phone-like feel.
Do I need to set a focus target?
Not at all. PimpMyCam automatically detects and focuses on visible objects in front of the camera.
How does auto focus work?
The add-on casts rays from the center of the camera view and adjusts focus distance based on the detected object’s position.
Does PimpMyCam require animation or keyframing?
No! All focus and sensor width changes happen automatically in real time based on what the camera sees.
