Pivot: Fix Local Space & Standardize Assets
Does this work on Mac/Linux?
Yes! Pivot includes pre-compiled native binaries for Windows (x64), macOS (11.0) (Intel & Apple Silicon), and Linux (glibc 2.28+). No external libraries or complex installations are required.
Which Blender versions are supported?
Pivot is compatible with Blender 4.2 LTS, and newer.
Why is Pivot Standard $5 here but free elsewhere?
We offer Pivot Standard for free ($0+) on Gumroad to get it into the hands of as many artists as possible. The $5 price on Blender Market helps us cover platform fees, contributes to the Blender Development Fund, and provides a way for users to support the project's continued development while keeping their add-ons organized in their BM library.
Can I use Pivot (Standard or Pro) for commercial projects?
Absolutely. You can use Pivot to create assets for games, films, and asset packs that you sell. You own the output 100%.
What is the difference between the Standard and Pro license?
- Standard: Designed for individual object manipulation (Origin, Axes, Rotation) in the viewport.
- Pro: Designed for library management. Adds batch processing, intelligent grouping, semantic classification, and visual organization tools on top of upgraded standard tools.
What is your refund policy?
We want you to be 100% happy with Pivot. Our goal is to save you time and eliminate frustration. If the add-on doesn't work for you or doesn't meet your expectations, we honor the standard Superhive Market refund policy (30 days). Just contact us, if we can't fix the problem for you, we will refund it.
Where can I report a bug or suggest a feature?
The best place is by clicking "Contact Creator" on this page. We are actively developing v1.1 and listen closely to user feedback.
I can't find the .zip file to install (Safari Users)
If you downloaded Pivot using Safari, you might see a folder instead of a .zip file. This is because Safari automatically unzips downloads by default.
- Option A (Fastest): Check your Trash Bin. The original .zip file is usually moved there automatically by Safari. Drag it to your desktop and install it in Blender.
- Option B (Re-Zip): Right-click the extracted folder and select Compress "pivot_[EDITION]". Use the new .zip file to install.
- Option C (Prevent it): In Safari, go to Settings > General and uncheck "Open 'safe' files after downloading."
"Developer cannot be verified" Warning
When you first run a Pivot command, macOS may block the engine because we are an independent developer (not on the App Store).
- Click Cancel on the popup warning.
- Open your Mac System Settings.
- Go to Privacy & Security and scroll to the bottom.
- You will see a message: "pivot_engine was blocked..."
- Click Allow Anyway.
- Go back to Blender and click the button again. It will work forever after this one-time step.
