This little addon deserves nothing but 5 stars and an extra bonus one. I love it.

Fantastic add on, coming from Maya the biggest thing I've missed when switching to Blender was maya's custom pivot. This does almost everything the maya pivot did and in some cases more. The only thing 2 things I think the add-on is missing would be a gizmo to move or rotate the pivot by hand and maybe a setting where, once you set a custom normal, the pivot will update if that normal changes. These settings may already exist and I just haven't found them yet. Either way amazing addon worth every penny.

Thanks friend. I didn't want to make it exactly like Maya's, since not everyone uses gizmos in Blender. I felt this was a good middle ground, but I'm always open to making changes if it benefit's the majority of users. Thank you for your ideas.

So much easier to create custom pivot and visually pleasing to do so, thank you.

This is an excellent add-on that is superior to Maya's custom pivot.
I would give this a 5 star rating if you could snap/align to anything that is visible :)

I have a question: when I set the operation type to Origin the Transform Orientation of Blender always jumps back to Global, requiring us to continuously set it back to Local (which would be far preferable).
Is there a way to change that behaviour or is this a feature request?

      Thanks for the rating.

I uploaded a new version (v114) that keeps your original Transform Orientation whenever you set a new Origin as you requested. No other changes were made, but if I do add anything in the future it will be what you and others have requested (targetting other objects while in Object mode).

If you have other issues, I recommend using Superhive's direct messaging system, so we can chat back and forth more comfortably (reviews only let us post once), and I can even send you the updated addon ZIP directly.
