  Just Amazing!!!

  I have been using “Preview-it” for some time and am highly impressed by its capabilities.
  The ability to preview Complex Geometry Node Trees via Thumbnails: either over all Nodes or selected Nodes, is exceptionally useful!!!

  You have the ability to select exactly what is displayed while simultaneously adjusting the Camera Angle as needed!!!

  These Features provide Precise Feedback on Changes within the Setup and allows users to Monitor the Real-Time Effects on subsequent Nodes!!!

  Additionally, “Preview-it” enables users to open blend files from other creators containing intricate GN Trees and Clearly Observe the Function of Each Node, significantly Enhancing the Learning Experience!!!

  The Developer is also Highly Responsive to requests and Consistently Updates his Addons!!!

  I strongly recommend “Preview-it” to anyone interested in Improving their Geometry Nodes Workflow and Deepening their Understanding of Node Based Setups!!!

  I don't usually use Geometry Nodes, so I don't really understand it. This add-on is very helpful because it helps me understand it visually. I think it's a really useful add-on, especially for those who are just starting to learn Geometry Nodes.

  This is a brilliant addon!
  It's a huge time and effort saver when working with Nodes. It's incredibly easy to work with, and the visual clarity makes it easy to understand and avoid getting lost in the data: look and you'll see what, where, how, and where from.
  The addon is absolutely worth the money.
  I'm eagerly awaiting updates, as the author always offers exciting features and interesting solutions.

  Easy installation, initial tests didn't work (I had to disable and re-enable it in the add-ons panel for it to function properly – possibly related to my Blender configuration). Since that minor issue, this plugin is simply... excellent.

  For anyone who wants to work with geonodes, it's just perfect.

  i bought this addon on april 2026 and theres no updates to this addon form nov 2025 feels like i got clickbaited by the roadmap and promises.i tried to ask about updates through discord but no response till date. i will update the review when i hear from him again.

  I'll start this review with my biggest issue: Preview-It is at least partially, and potentially entirely, vibecoded. Looking at the code in VS Code reveals comments in nearly every file that have conversational uses of "we" and "you", implying that the creator was chatting with an AI that wrote the code. In the interest of keeping this review up and public, I won't copy anything directly from the add-on's code, but one particularly incriminating code comment starts with "In your code"...

  Beyond my issues with vibecoding, I purchased this add-on in January 2026 since Preview-It's description at the time stated "full 1.0 release expected in about 1-2 months." Over the last 4 months, the add-on has not been updated once. In the creator's Discord server, the creator responded to one user with the following (AI-generated) comment on January 15:

  "Regarding the roadmap: you're absolutely right. I'll fix this and make the roadmap/timeline more structured and publicly visible."

  However, there was no additional communication from the creator about Preview-It until March 23, only after the same Discord user inquired 3 more times on February 26, March 6, and March 19 about Preview-It's full release progress. In the creator's response on March 23, they admit that "Roadmap features should take around 4-6 months, Shader View merge being the biggest chunk."

  Despite communicating this in their Discord server, the creator still hasn't updated Preview-It's description on Superhive, which as of May 6 still reads "the full 1.0 release expected in about 1-2 months." It's worth mentioning again, this is the same text that was present in the add-on's description in January. I suspect that the creator hasn't publicly updated Preview-It's description with the new roadmap of 4-6 months because they're trying to get users to purchase both (despite promising to build Shader View's functionality into Preview-It).

  At best, there is clear false advertising with regard to promised features and expected delivery dates. Unfortunately, I fear that the issues with this add-on run much deeper than just false advertising. Given the widespread evidence of AI usage in the add-on's code, the creator's reliance on AI to respond to users, the lack of updates, the lack of timely communication, etc., I have difficulty trusting that this add-on will ever be properly updated again (especially since the add-on's currently supported Blender versions are the only versions that AI can produce code for at the time of this review).

  I will not be purchasing from this creator again, and I would advise other potential buyers to be wary as well.

  Hey! I owe you an apology. The 1–2 month estimate I posted in January was wrong. When the timeline shifted to 4–6 months, I should have updated the Superhive description publicly, not just mentioned it in Discord. The reason for the delay was that I was finishing another add-on, which is now released, so I'm switching focus back to Preview-It this week. The store description will be updated to reflect the real roadmap.

  On the "vibecoded" claim, I'd like to clarify something. English isn't my first language, so I use ChatGPT to correct grammar in my written communication — Discord replies, store descriptions, emails. That's where phrases like "you're absolutely right" come from: AI-edited writing, not AI-generated code. The code itself is mine. The "we" in code comments is just how programmers write, regardless of who wrote the code — but I understand how the AI-assisted writing could create the impression that everything else is AI too.

  The delay and the missing description update are real failures on my part and I'll fix them.
