It will run the Boolean, but printable closed output needs a closed manifold source. If your mesh has holes, close them first. The add-on checks both pieces for closed edges and rejects the cut if it cannot produce two valid parts.

That happens on thin or organic sections. The add-on retries automatically with a wider local cutter and the Exact solver. If it still fails, redraw the cut so the line goes fully around the cross-section and finishes near the start point.
