Can I add my own nest to the library?
Yes, with a little Python. Section 11 shows how to add a built-in nest with its own thumbnail.
Why does Blender slow down with big nests?
Large nests such as the Eagle and Stork have hundreds of thousands of vertices. Lower Density and Curve Resolution while you work, turn Live Update off, and raise them again for the final render.
Can I edit the mesh by hand or export it?
Convert the nest to a mesh first, as described in section 9. Until then, the parts are rebuilt every time a setting changes and hand edits are lost. After converting, export as FBX, OBJ or glTF like any other mesh.
Can I put several nests in one scene?
Yes. Each nest has its own controller and settings, so changing one never affects the others. Add Random Nest and Variation are the fastest ways to fill a scene with different nests.
How do I keep a nest I like?
Save it in a .blend file and append it into other projects with File → Append. Version 1.1.0 has no preset saving, so this is the way to reuse a design.
Will the same settings always give the same nest?
Yes. The same Seed and settings rebuild exactly the same nest, so you can reopen a file and get it back. Change the Seed, or click Variation, when you want a new one.
Does it need an internet connection?
No. Everything, including the library thumbnails and materials, is stored inside the add-on and works offline.
Does it work in Cycles and EEVEE?
Yes. All materials are built from Blender's own shader nodes, so they render in both. Cycles shows the fine bark and grass detail best, and EEVEE is quicker for previews and animation.
If Blender versions 3.0 do not supported?
If blender old version like 2.0, 3.0, so use latest version 4.2.3 to 5.0 or latest version.
