Sign Generator is a procedural Geometry Nodes system for creating customizable layered signs directly in Blender.
Build signs from independent plaque layers, frames, text, and decorative elements, then adjust their shape, depth, stacking, materials, position, and rotation from a single Geometry Nodes setup.
The product includes 8 ready-to-use Asset Browser presets built on one shared Geometry Nodes library.
Layered Sign System
Create signs using two independently controlled plaque layers:
Base plaque
Top plaque
Independent inner frames for both layers
Adjustable depth and shape composition
Top stacking controls
Top Flare finishing controls
This makes it easy to create anything from simple storefront plaques to more decorative layered sign designs.
Text & Decorative Inserts
The generator includes 3 external insert slots that accept Blender Text or Mesh objects.
Use them for:
Sign text
Logos
Symbols
Decorative shapes
Custom mesh elements
Multiple anchoring modes let you position inserts relative to the sign structure:
Frontmost
Base
Top
Manual Z
Materials
Seven semantic material inputs provide direct control over the main parts of the sign, making it easy to create different visual styles without rebuilding the setup.
Placement Controls
Adjust the finished sign directly from the modifier using controls for:
Local wall offset
Position
Rotation in degrees
8 Included Presets
Classic Rectangle
Retro Arch Shop
Round Emblem
Layered Cafe Sign
Wide Storefront
Vertical Blade Sign
Festival Star
Mid-Century Studio
All presets use the same shared Geometry Nodes system, so you can use them as starting points and customize them through the same workflow.
Asset Browser Ready
All 8 presets are prepared for Blender's Asset Browser.
Open the included .blend, switch an editor to Asset Browser > Current File, then drag or append a preset into your scene and edit its Geometry Nodes modifier.
