  While using this addon for my project, I quickly discovered how powerful, practical and realistic this tool can be. When set up correctly in conjunction with good materials, lighting and camera work, the results can be near indistinguishable from reality. It runs incredibly smoothly, not affecting my performance much at all, even on a mid range system. In terms of the future of this tool, I would love to see some kind of "splash" feature be implemented, potentially as a particle system. In addition to the ripples and droplets, I think it would make an already great addon even better. Great job Ryan!

  Best raining simulation in the Blendermarket as I know. Takes me close 1 hr to watch tutorial video. It is still quite cumbersome to make a full scene. May add windy effect in the volumetric rain in the future. Can make more realistic for ripples interference ? More automatic, intelligent is preferable instead of manual setup.

  The addon is exactly what i have been looking for. I have used a few rain effects add ons and this is by far the most realistic. But what sets this apart from the rest is the support, who go above and beyond to help their customers out. Just from customer service alone, I will buy anything from Nodes and Noodles.

  This is a great looking material, even just in the viewport. It's very well constructed, and the node tree is clearly annotated so you can understand what does what. Not only does it give you very convincing puddles but the buildup of raindrops on the dry ground is a superb touch. Looking forward to version 2!
