All fabrics were captured with dedicated scanning hardware. The scanner captures thousands of measurements on a sample to record the true physical nature of the material. The measurements produce texture maps that align with the Disney Principled BSDF (Bidirectional Scattering Distribution Function) model.
By using this method, the materials processed retain a lifelike appearance when rendered in your 3D scenes.
