Add-on that helps you to light your model to show them in the best light and do it quickly!
Relit is a Blender add-on built for freelancers who need great lighting fast. Select your object, dial in your parameters, hit Generate and get a complete lighting setup in seconds. Run multiple independent rigs side by side, compare them, keep what works.
Who It's For
Freelancers, product visualizers, and 3D artists who want professional lighting without spending half their session on it. If your job is to deliver great renders, not to be a lighting technician, Relit is your tool.
How It Works
- Select your object in the scene
- Configure your rig - light type, quantity, power, size, spread, color scheme
- Generate - Relit places lighting around your object instantly
- Repeat with a new system to explore a completely different look - without touching the first one
No manual light placement. No starting from scratch every time you want to try something different.
Features
-
Multiple Independent Lighting Systems - build and manage several rigs in the same scene, each with its own parameters. Switch between them, enable or disable, compare results without losing your work
-
Randomized Generation - lights are distributed around your object procedurally, giving you arrangements you wouldn't have thought to build manually. Sometimes the best setup is the one you didn't plan
-
12 Color Schemes - Random, Mono, Comp and variants. One click changes the entire mood of your lighting
-
Full Spread Control - define the X, Y, and Z range your lights occupy. Tight studio setup or wide dramatic spread, you control the volume
- Named Systems - label each rig so your scene stays organized no matter how many systems you're running
Relit 2.7

Try Before You Buy
A free earlier version (v2.0) is available on GitHub: https://github.com/Wand44/Random-light-2.0
It gives you the core generation engine without the multi-system architecture or color schemes. Enough to understand how Relit works before committing.
License
Relit is released under the GPL license, consistent with Blender's own licensing. This is standard for all Blender add-ons — if you've bought other tools on this platform, the same terms apply. You're paying for a polished, maintained tool and future updates, not just the raw code.
