  Doesn't install on 4.2.2 which contradicts both this site's claims and that of the github source. The expectation is you downgrade your numpy version that comes with blender that may lead to other incompatabilities for other addins. The older free versions from github seemed fine with my Blender 3.6, so if the money charged isn't being used to fix compatability issues with a fresh Blender installs, stick with the free versions and manage compatability by using older versions of Blender etc.

  Thanks for the feedback and sorry for the trouble you ran into.

  As discussed earlier the installation issue you saw wasn’t caused by the addon. On your system the Blender-bundled aud/audaspace module was already corrupted, which prevented registration on the first load.

  To help avoid these kinds of issues starting with v1.6.1 the aud dependency is optional. The addon installs and registers even if aud is broken or absent, though the automatic audio-conversion buttons will be disabled in that case. Please give it try.

  For clarity, I have verified the addon (including versions before v1.6.1) installs and works correctly on a fresh vanilla Blender 4.2.2 installation on Ubuntu with no issues involving the aud module.
