What happens if I rename a bone collection or bone after setting up the panel?
The panel uses names to look up bones and collections. If you rename them, update the references in the Collections and Props tabs and press "Apply / Refresh Panels
Will my panel configuration be saved with the .blend file?
Yes. All layouts, sections, properties, and grid configurations are stored in the scene data and saved automatically with your .blend file.
Do animators need the add-on installed to use my rig?
No. Use the Script tab to export a standalone Python script of your rig UI. That script works in any Blender 4.2+ file without Rig Panel installed — just run it once from the Text Editor.
