    This addon provides for me a new tool that helps me get images as 3D objects inside of blender. This is great for experimenting with new methods of modelling, like using images as reference in building 3D scenes. For example, I've generated an image from google maps using this tool so that I can reference it while creating the 3D object from this new reference. Works great.
