Six Minimalist Blender Projects, Two Hours Each | Sessions Minimalism
What’s in the download
Each of the six projects has its own .zip files, numbered in course order so they sort correctly:
- _videos.zip has the video lessons for that project (.mp4) with captions. Ancient Pillars is split into videos-part1 and videos-part2 to keep file sizes manageable.
- _source-files.zip has Kent’s .blend files saved at the end of each lesson, plus the source file license (PDF).
They’re regular .zip files, not split archives. Download, unzip, done.
File list
- 01 Planet: videos, source files (includes three extra iteration files, A to C)
- 02 Looping Patterns: videos, source files
- 03 Graphic Landscape: videos, source files
- 04 Light Shape Hallway: videos, source files
- 05 Museum: videos, source files
- 06 Ancient Pillars: videos part 1, videos part 2, source files
About 4.3 GB in total. Grab the projects you want first; every project stands on its own.
Project files
Every set of source files was saved self-contained, so there’s nothing to relink. Open the end-of-lesson .blend to see the scene exactly as it was when that lesson wrapped.
Captions
Every video has an English caption file (.srt) sitting next to it in the same .zip. Need another language? Free tools like Subtitle Edit can translate .srt files.
Blender version
Recorded in Blender 3.3 to 3.5, and that’s what the project files were saved in. They open in newer releases. A few nodes and settings have moved since (the Principled BSDF in 4.0, Musgrave folding into Noise in 4.1), so if something isn’t where Kent left it, a quick search usually finds it.
