GETTING THE MATERIALS IN

There are two ways you may have received this pack. You only need one.

A) The materials already appear in your Asset Browser.

   Open the Asset Browser, find Starting Frame, and drag a metal onto

   any object. Nothing to install.

B) You downloaded the zip.

   1. Unzip it anywhere you keep Blender assets.

   2. Edit > Preferences > File Paths > Asset Libraries > add that folder.

   3. Asset Browser > Starting Frame > Metal. Drag onto an object.

REQUIRES BLENDER 5.2 OR NEWER

The pack file is saved by Blender 5.2 LTS and will not open in 4.x,

including 4.2 LTS. Tested in 5.2.0 — that is the verified floor, so

it is the one we claim.

THE NINE METALS

Brushed aluminum · brushed steel · gunmetal · polished chrome · gold

copper · scratched steel · rusty steel · shipwreck.

All nine come off one node group. 100% procedural — no image textures,

no UVs, nothing to bake.

THE SLIDERS

Brushed Amount / Streak Scale / Streak Contrast / Streak Bump — the grain.

Scratch Amount + Scale — clustered wear lines that brighten and roughen.

Rust Amount + Scale + two rust colors — ragged oxide patches: dielectric,

matte, crusted. Coat Weight for lacquered looks. Every control a slider.

THE ASSET BROWSER IS THE REAL UNDO

All nine metals share one node group, so resetting a slider returns the

generator's base value, not the variant you started from. To get a

variant back exactly as it shipped, drag a fresh copy in from the Asset

Browser. The version you already tuned stays untouched.

BUILT AND TUNED FOR EEVEE

It renders in Cycles and nothing in it is Cycles-incompatible, but it

was not tuned there and it will look different.

LICENSE

Render whatever you like, commercially or not, and sell the result.

No credit required. The only thing off the table is repackaging the

materials themselves and redistributing them as your own pack.
