SF Metal — Procedural Metal Materials for Blender

Starting Frame in Sci Fi

If a slider reset does not restore the look, what do I do?
Drag a fresh copy of that metal in from the Asset Browser. All nine share one node group, so reset returns the generator's base value rather than the variant. A fresh drag gives you an exact copy of what you bought and leaves the one you tuned alone.
Do I need to UV unwrap anything?
No. The materials are procedural and work in object space, so they apply to any mesh without UVs.
Why does brushed metal usually look wrong in EEVEE?

Because brushed metal is normally built with anisotropy, and EEVEE does not read anisotropy sockets. The shader does not error — it just renders as a generic soft metal, so the grain you set up in Cycles quietly disappears. SF Metal puts the brushed grain in the roughness channel as a directional streak field instead, which EEVEE does read.
