What is Simple Circuits

Simple Circuits is a Geometry Nodes asset pack for adding highly detailed, realistic circuitry to any model in seconds. Great circuitry is hard to get right and most procedural and static solutions just don't hold up. Simple Circuits produces boards that land between a PC motherboard and a network switch line card: detailed enough to be convincing, generic enough to belong anywhere.

The latest release brings everything up to date for Blender 5.0+. The major node groups have been rewritten, controls are now cleanly organized into panels and menus, and you can drive the color of boards, silkscreen, vias, instances, and emissive elements right from Geometry Nodes.

Use it however you like. Simple Circuits comes in four formats:

Blender Asset File — native asset browser support
KitOps KPack
Simple Sci-Fi Flex DPack
Structured Sci-Fi Packer (SPock) DPack

And six boards to start from: one blank, one modern computer-style board, and four futuristic sci-fi designs More modern and retro boards are on the roadmap.

Everything can be used royalty free for both commercial and noncommercial projects, just don’t resell any of these inserts or node groups “as-is”. The node groups for recoloring and emissive colors are free to use in commercial products. I believe there is a lot of opportunity to blend geometry nodes and materials for much smarter assets and I would like to see more products released by others using this technique.
