SnowDrop MarketReady is a Blender add-on for checking .blend files before marketplace upload, client delivery, or archive handoff.

Installation

1. In Blender 4.2 or newer, open Edit > Preferences > Get Extensions.
2. Choose Install from Disk.
3. Select snowdrop-marketready.zip.
4. Enable SnowDrop MarketReady.
5. Open the 3D View sidebar with N.
6. Choose the MarketReady tab.

Basic Use

1. Choose Scene to audit the full file, or Selected to audit only selected objects.
2. Click Run Audit.
3. Review the status, score, and issue counts in the sidebar.
4. Choose a report format: Markdown, HTML, or JSON.
5. Click Export Report, or click Open Last Report to export and open the latest report.

Reports

Reports include the audit status, score, issue counts, issue list, suggested fixes, and an Audit Coverage section showing which checks were performed.

When the .blend file has been saved, paths beginning with // export relative to that .blend file. When the file has not been saved yet, default report paths are written to Blender's temporary directory and Blender shows the full path in the status message.

What MarketReady Checks

- Default-style names for objects, meshes, materials, images, scenes, and collections
- Missing, unpacked, pathless, and very large image textures
- Camera, light, and mesh material readiness
- Negative scale and unapplied object scale
- N-gons, zero-area faces, loose edges, and non-manifold mesh edges
- Unused mesh, material, image, and collection data blocks
- Saved file path and configured .blend file size limit

Fix Helpers

Rename Defaults:
Renames default-style data blocks using the configured prefix.

Pack Images:
Packs external image files into the .blend file.

Purge Orphans:
Removes unused data blocks.

Open After Export:
When enabled, MarketReady opens the exported report after writing it.

Privacy

SnowDrop MarketReady runs locally inside Blender. It does not upload files, make network requests, or require an external account.
