What is the purpose of this addon?
SpaceMouse™ is limited to basic navigation (pan, zoom, rotate view).
This addon freezes navigation and you can move objects using NDOF (N-Degrees of Freedom) device.
Currently only devices made by 3Dconnexion, such as the SpaceMouse™, are supported.
Does it support both object and edit mode?
Yes! The addon provides full 6DOF manipulation in both Object and Edit modes, including reference frame awareness for more accurate transformation.
Is there a displacement display like Blender’s native “G” move (Adjust Last Operation Panel)?
Not currently. The addon doesn’t support the bottom-left toast, real-time displacement feedback or numerical input.
Will it work on Windows, macOS, and Linux?
Absolutely. As long as your Blender installation supports NDOF devices and you’ve installed the required drivers, you're good to go across platforms.
