    This is a wonderful add-on!
I’m really happy that, with V3, I can now create a pair of pegs and sockets without having to cut anything.

It’s already quite elegant as is, but I think it would be even better if there were a button to convert the pegs and sockets into solid objects for users who prefer a more straightforward approach.
(This means performing Boolean operations manually using polygonized pegs and sockets.)

Thanks Yousuke for your kind words about the add on!

I listen to every request from the community and I look into each one to see whether it would make the add on better, so thank you for your feedback and your suggestions.
Let's keep talking about it in DM ;)

First: I have next to no idea what I'm doing with Blender; I'm familiar with several CAD programs, and the interface is completely inscrutable to me. I'm using Blender 5.0 at the moment, AFAIK. That being said, installing this extension was simple enough - drag and drop. Once installed, it wasn't clear to me how to use it, until I found a small menu icon for it in the right side of the Layout window after hitting the N key (thanks Google!). After clicking that to open it and clicking the GLB I imported, I was able to (free version) attempt a straight cut. The clicking and dragging to define the line worked perfectly.

Second: Which brings us to the issue I had - instead of cutting along the line from the perspective the line was drawn from, it gouged a small surface chunk from the surface most perpendicular to the cut. From the front, it tried to gouge out a chunk of the front. From the side, the side. The one thing it DIDN'T do is slice the limb. The real question is why.

Option 1: The app doesn't work. I'm doubtful, since the demo videos look functional in exactly the way I'd want.

Option 2: My model is... problematic. It's very high-poly, tris instead of quads, already rigged with a skeleton, etc. So it's entirely possible it's the model. Further testing revealed...

Yes! It's the model. I tried a different GLB and it more-or-less worked, and quickly. Only issue now is that after creating a cut and peg, the movement tool only appears on the peg, and not the limb.

So it works, it apparently works well, MOST of the time, for MOST models. But don't expect it to make Blender straightforward, lol. All of my problems are my own, and hopefully I'll figure things out.

This is a neat tool, and I'm going to continue testing to see how useful it can be for my intended workflow, and compare it to other comparable plug-ins before buying. Thanks to the creator!

Thank you for your kind feedback.

There is a short tutorial video that shows the installation and the N panel, but you're right, pressing N was probably not made very visible in it.

As for the cutting problems, every time I look at a mesh that causes trouble, it turns out to be an internal issue with the mesh itself, at least so far. That's exactly why I added a Repair Mesh feature, which very often fixes those cutting problems.

About the move tool, it does appear on the peg, for the pegs obviously, but also on the selected piece, at its pivot point, just like before the cut.

And yes, going from CAD software to Blender isn't easy. If you have any questions, feature requests or other problems, feel free to contact me.

I hope the add on will be useful to you.

      Thanks again for your feedback.
