Stylized Animated Flies

Stylized Animated Flies is a Geometry Nodes setup for Grease Pencil that automatically generates animated butterflies, bees, dragonflies, and more. It is the perfect addition to any stylized environment.

Everything is designed for ease of use: simply "draw" the insects individually or along a specific trajectory, and the Geometry Nodes will handle the rest.

The set includes 6 types of flying insects (available in the Asset Library and the .blend file):

• Two types of stylized butterflies
• Bees
• Dragonflies
• Fireflies
• Simple basic midges

Why I created this:

When building stylized environments, I used to spend hours on small details, and animation was particularly time-consuming. With this Asset Library, the process is transformed. Now, I can simply drag and drop pre-animated insects into the scene. If I need them in a specific spot, I just make the object local and literally "paint" them into the environment.
