Stylized Blue Ninja Warrior With Katana
Which file should I use if I need the character's included animations?
Use musculer ninja.fbx. It is the only supplied format containing baked animation data — 15 named clips (10 numbered hand poses, "hand punch", two blink clips, and two fist clips). The .glb export contains the same rig and shape keys but 0 animation clips, and .obj has no animation support at all.
Why don't the textures show up automatically when I import the OBJ?
The supplied
musculer ninja.mtl file only links a texture for the eyes material. The other 7 materials (body, cloths, belt and shes, eyebrow, teeth, tong, ninjato_sword) have no texture path written into the MTL, even though the corresponding PNG files are included in textures.zip. You will need to manually assign those 7 textures after importing the OBJ — this does not affect the FBX or GLB, which carry correct material/texture links. Is this character fully rigged, including the face and fingers?
Yes. The .blend file's internal strings confirm an Auto-Rig Pro (ARP) rig, and the exported skin binds 667 joints, including individually named bones for each finger (thumb through pinky, both hands) and a detailed facial control rig (eyelids, eyebrows, multiple lip segments, jaw, cheeks, ears, nose, and a 3-segment tongue). A separate 2-bone rig independently drives the katana and tanto.
