Which Blender version should I use, and where are the two setups?
Use Blender 5.1.2 with the supplied Cycles scene. Custom Settings is visible in the Example collection. Default Settings is inside the excluded Geometry Node collection; enable it in the Outliner. Both examples use the same generator and expose 42 controls.
