Stylized Surgeon 3D Model - Rigged Doctor Character
Surgeon 3D Model — a rigged, stylized doctor character built for animation, games, medical visualisation, and archviz crowd work.
He comes fully dressed for the operating room with a green scrub top and drawstring trousers, matching surgical cap, light-green face mask, surgical gloves, and blue rubber OR clogs. The proportions are lightly cartooned but grounded, allowing the character to work alongside semi-realistic casts.
The character is delivered as 12 clean mesh parts with mostly all-quad topology, approximately 8k base polygons / 15.5k triangulated triangles, even edge flow around the face, shoulders, elbows, and knees, and separate garment shells that are easy to recolour or swap. Every piece is UV-unwrapped and textured with 2048 × 2048 maps using Base Color + OpenGL Normal textures for skin, scrubs, hair, and shoes.
Rigging
The Blender file includes a full-body IK/FK control rig named dco male rig_rig, with hand and foot IK, knee and elbow pole targets, a root/COG control, and spine/head FK controls.
The FBX and GLB contain the skinned skeleton with 551 joints, including deform and control bones.
No animation clips are included. The model is supplied as a pose-and-animate base rather than an animated action set.

Engine & Import Notes
Blender: Open Surgeon-1.blend directly. The rig and materials are ready, with textures packed or relative to textures/.
Unreal Engine: Import the FBX as a Skeletal Mesh with Import Normals. Create a material using Base Color + Normal and flip the green channel of the OpenGL normal maps when required.
Unity: Use the GLB or FBX and assign an URP/HDRP Lit material with the supplied Base Color + Normal maps. Generic rig is recommended; Humanoid mapping is currently unconfirmed.
Maya / 3ds Max / Cinema 4D: Import the FBX, set the appropriate system units, and reconnect Base Color + Normal maps if they are not automatically linked.
Godot: Import Surgeon-1.glb.
Substance 3D Painter / ZBrush / Marmoset: Import Surgeon-1.obj.
3D Printing: Load Surgeon-1.stl, scale as required, and perform a manifold check before slicing.
Scale & Orientation
- 1 unit = 1 metre
- Character height approximately 1.74 m
- Origin at floor level between the feet
-
.blend: Z-up - OBJ / FBX / GLB: Y-up
- A-pose with arms approximately 30–40° down from T
Honest Disclaimers
- This is a stylized artistic character, not a photoscan.
- It is not an anatomical, clinical, or PPE reference.
- Garment cut, mask, and glove details are simplified.
- The model is not affiliated with or a reference for any real brand, hospital, manufacturer, or person.
- No animation is included.
- No blendshapes / facial morph targets were found in the exports.
- Eyes use a shader-only material.
- Only Base Color + Normal maps are provided; no Roughness, Metallic, or AO maps are included.
- The delivered mesh is the base cage; the smooth appearance in previews comes from subdivision and smooth shading.
