Teleport Nodes: Smart Auto-Wiring
What versions of Blender are supported?
It requires Blender 4.2 or higher.
What happens if I put an existing Emitter into a Node Group (Ctrl+G)?
It works perfectly! Teleport Nodes has a built-in background reconciliation engine. When Blender rebuilds the node inside the new group, Teleport Nodes instantly detects the hierarchy change, keeps the UUID intact, and automatically spawns the required interface sockets so your Portals never lose connection.
Does this work inside nested Node Groups?
Yes, it features deep cross-tree automation. If you connect a Portal inside a node group to an Emitter on the outside, the add-on automatically generates the necessary interface sockets and draws the internal wires for you behind the scenes.
Will my .blend file work if I send it to a client or friend who doesn't own the add-on?
Yes! Teleport Nodes includes a 1-click "Bake to Wires" feature. Before sending your file, simply click this button in the N-Panel. It will permanently convert all your Teleport networks back into standard, physical Blender cables. Your recipient won't need the add-on at all.
Does this work with Shader Nodes or the Compositor?
Currently, Teleport Nodes is built specifically and exclusively for Geometry Nodes. Because of the complex way data is passed through Geometry Node groups, the add-on's architecture is hyper-focused on keeping Geo-Node graphs clean.
