  seriously where is update in this 5 months?. where is 'Depth-Anything-V2-Giant'? where is feature to put multiple image angle to generate accurate mesh every side. i am forced to use other AI expensive subscription for that

  I've spent the whole day trying to solve some technical issues with the True Depth addon, and unfortunately, I haven't received any response from the creator, which has been a bit disappointing. I found an alternative solution using another addon (3D Scan Cleaner), which allowed me to get a solid and clean mesh. Still, I recognize the value of this addon, so I'm giving it 4 stars, though I would have appreciated at least a little help or a reply. Thank you.

  I purchased this addon in August 2025 and have been using version 1.5.4 in my workflow.

  Installation is a bit buggy on Windows, I had to stop using the Windows Store version of Blender because of permission issues. I had to figure that out on my own because the developer didn’t have any suggestions for why the install script would fail. The tool itself works well and produces solid depth results, so I’ve been happy with its core functionality. However, I noticed that newer versions (v2+) are now available, and my account currently only provides access to the 1.x series.

  Since the product page mentions “free updates for life,” I was expecting continued access to newer versions, so I’m hoping the developer can clarify how updates are handled between major releases for existing customers.

  For anyone considering this addon, especially for long-term use across newer Blender versions, it would be helpful to confirm update access ahead of time so expectations match how future versions are delivered.

  Overall, a capable tool, and I’d appreciate any clarification on how updates are intended to work going forward.

  You have the newest version in your downloads I just haven’t named the file V2

  But be sure that it is indeed Version 2
