# UNIVERSAL BLENDER LAUNCHER by AL3K

**A simple, minimal standalone launcher for Blender 3D — by AL3K.**

Scan every Blender install on your machine, pick the version you want, see which addons and extensions each one has, and launch with optional advanced flags. Clean dark UI. No clutter.

## What it does

| **Install scan** | Finds Blender installs under Program Files, Local AppData, Steam, common portable folders, PATH, and any custom paths you add |

| **Version picker** | Lists every install with version and source; one-click launch |

| **Addons & extensions** | For the selected version, lists user addons, Blender 4.2+ extensions, and bundled core addons |

| **Favorite** | Mark a preferred install so it is selected first next time |

| **Advanced launch** | Factory startup, background mode, debug, extra CLI args, open a `.blend` on launch |

| **Folders** | Jump to the install directory or that version’s user config folder |

| **Standalone** | Runs as its own app (Python + CustomTkinter); can be frozen to a single `.exe` with PyInstaller |

## Interface

The main window is intentionally minimal:

- **Left** — installations list (version, source, path)

- **Right** — details + tabs for **Addons**, **Extensions**, and **Core**

- **Header** — Rescan, + Path, Advanced, **Launch**

- **Advanced** (toggle) — launch flags and optional file/args

- **Footer** — status and branding (`UNIVERSAL BLENDER LAUNCHER by AL3K`)

## Requirements

- **Windows** (primary target; Linux/macOS paths are partially supported)

- **Python 3.10+**

- **customtkinter** (see `requirements.txt`)
