Why doesn´t this work in older versions of Blender?
Under the hood we utilize the new bevel node to create the rounded corners. This node was newly added in Blender 5.2
My object disappears or looks weird after adding a geometry node
Make sure that the width and height of the sign are large enough for the text. If they are too small, you might not even see the text are the geometry might be distorted.
The rustiness option seems to do nothing. What's up?
Even though a rustiness slider is available on the Weathered material option as well, it is only functional on the Rusty material.
In the video you apply the modifier. Is that necessary?
Absolutely not! That was only done to show the generated geometry.
Did you use AI to create these assets?
No, these geometry nodes were 100% created with human hands and brains.
