Voronezh Koltsovskaya Tower

Import and usage

Blender

Open source/Voronezh_Koltsovskaya_Tower.blend in Blender 5.0.1. Keep textures beside source and export at ../textures. Select DAY | Tower exterior or NIGHT | Architectural illumination. The source retains editable quad-dominant components; export contains the fixed triangulated version. Cameras and lights are excluded from geometry counts. Source may initially open on either scene; select the intended scene explicitly.

FBX and OBJ

Import export/Voronezh_Koltsovskaya_Tower.fbx or .obj, keeping .mtl and ../textures paths intact. Units are metres. Exchange files use Y up; the Blender scene uses Z up. OBJ does not embed lights; normal/roughness textures require Non-Color/data colour space. Import normals rather than recomputing them. Use the _Night.fbx when you need the exported 89-light layout; light units and materials need renderer adaptation. Blender 5.0.1's FBX importer can encounter a Cycles cast_shadow issue for lights; the native .blend is the preferred Blender lighting file.

Unity URP

Import packages/Voronezh_Koltsovskaya_Tower_Unity_URP.unitypackage into Unity 6000.6.1f1 with Universal RP 17.6.0. Assets/Voronezh_Koltsovskaya_Tower contains Prefabs/Tower_Day and Tower_Night, Scenes/Day and Night, Materials, Textures, Models and Settings. Drag either prefab into a blank scene. Root position/rotation are zero and scale is one; metres, Y up, ground-centre pivot. Geometry is combined into eleven native mesh assets to reduce the original component count. Generic FBX remains in the separate FBX archive, not duplicated inside the Unity package.

For the 89-light night setup use Settings/TowerPipeline with Forward+ (Forward Plus); set it in Graphics and Quality settings, or use your own equivalent URP renderer. The package does not overwrite your project settings. URP shaders are not Built-in/HDRP shaders. Five box colliders approximate the main tiers; no interior access or fine collision on ornament, railings and overhangs. MetallicSmoothness maps: R=metallic, A=1−roughness; G/B unused. Base Color sRGB, normals/data linear. Source textures use repeat wrap and intentional UV tiling.

Unreal

See UNREAL_IMPORT.md. Open the native .uproject or migrate its product Content folder into another UE 5.8.3 project. Importing the raw FBX alone does not install the supplied Unreal materials and Blueprints.

Scope and limitations

Exterior only. Ground-floor openings deliberately closed following user direction. No modular building kit, surrounding buildings, interiors, rig, animation or LOD. Roof and inaccessible rear areas include inferred construction. Geometry is closed in individual components, not fused into a single printable solid. Intentional intersections at hidden mountings do not mean a watertight union. No claim of structural/survey accuracy or store approval. Source photographs are reference inputs, not redistributed texture images.

Normal-map strength: Blender 0.65; Unity Bump Scale 0.65; the Unreal DirectX normal maps include the equivalent attenuation before encoding. Weathered metal uses metallic 0.78 (Unity packed R=199/255).
