New in 1.3 Available Now
- Wheel Inset: tucks the wheel and brakes into the tire, so the rim lip sits just inside the sidewall like a real fitment instead of poking out. Every wheel picks a realistic default.
- Wheel shaping: Face Curve (concave or convex spoke faces) and Bend Start, plus Hub Molding and Lug Pockets for forged hubs where the spokes flow into the centre.
- Real-world vehicle presets: 67 complete, one-click builds for sports cars, supercars, trucks and 4x4s, everyday cars, SUVs, winter setups and lowriders. Each one sets the size, tread, wheel, fitment, brakes and finishes, builds immediately (even in an empty scene) and adds a light, randomised layer of real-world weathering.
- New tread types: 25 real-world tread patterns, including 5 off-road all-terrain, rugged-terrain and mud-terrain designs with sidewall lugs, plus performance, touring, SUV and winter tires with their real sidewall markings.
- New wheels: supercar web and twin-spoke designs (Lamborghini-style Y-web and twisted Y, Ferrari-style split five, twin five and carbon 10-spoke, McLaren and Porsche-style forged wheels), and 5 lowrider wire wheels with twisted spokes, dish control and knock-off spinners.
- Wheel Generator: hand-model one spoke, hub sector and outer lip on a radial template, then capture it as your own wheel type. It fits any tire size, spoke count and spoke width, with procedural barrel, lugs, cap, valve and brakes.
- Caliper Generator: generate the standard caliper on a reference rotor, reshape it or replace it with your own model, and capture it as a new caliper style that fits any rotor size.
- New weathering: Scuffs (curb and road rash running around the sidewall, with Density and Scale controls), Water Spots (dried mineral spots and rings) and a heavier, patchier Dust layer.
- Every finish on every part: all 36 wheel finishes and 12 hardware finishes are now available for every wheel part, from the barrel to the lug nuts. Carbon fibre comes in fine, standard and large weaves.
- Rounder sidewalls: tires get a fuller, inflated sidewall bulge by default, with extra bulge on 4x4 and off-road tires.
Coming Soon
Based on feedback we're planning to add the following features:
1. More tire treads based on real world tires like we did with the Off Road vehicles in v1.3
2. More wheel sets based on real world supercars. Users can do this in v1.3 using the custom spoke generator, but we'll also be adding this
3. Additional weathering and layer effects to increase realism
4. Improvement of new vehicle presets to make 1-click realistic wheels and tires for all kinds of vehicles
5. New material types and customization options

Why Wheel and Tire Pro?
- Realistic results in a few clicks. Choose Class, Size, Tread, Wheel and Material, then Build. No modelling, no sculpting, no texture hunting.
- Over 90,000 ready-made combinations from Quick Setup alone, before you count lug styles, brake packages, centre caps, per-part colours and weathering.
- Everything fits automatically. Treads conform to the tire size, wheels fit the tire's rim diameter and width, and the hardware and brakes fit the wheel.
- Clean, production-grade geometry. Every wheel, brake and cap is watertight. Openings are wrapped in proper edge loops and fillets, so there's no pinching and no shading artefacts.
- Fully procedural materials. Photoreal rubber, paints, metals and carbon fibre with no image textures to manage.
- Live preview. Drag any slider and the tire and wheel rebuild in well under a second.
- Full manual control underneath the presets, for when you want to go custom.
Quick Setup
The top of the panel is all most people will ever need:
- Class: Automotive, Motorcycle, Bicycle, Industrial or Aviation. Picking a class loads a complete, sensible default build and filters every list below to parts that belong to that class.
- Tire Size: real-world sizes for the class, or type any size in that class's own format.
- Tread: parametric tread patterns for the class.
- Wheel: wheel designs for the class, plus "No Wheel" (and "Barrel Only" for cars).
- Lugs: 6 lug-nut styles on car-style wheels (each wheel picks a fitting default).
- Brakes: brake packages for the class.
- Material: complete looks for rubber, wheel, hardware and calipers.
- Sidewall: Blackwall, Raised White Letters, Whitewall or Tanwall.
- Sidewall features: tick boxes for Lettering, Size / Info markings, Vent Spews and Sidewall Relief, plus your own Brand and Model text.
- Build Tire & Wheel, then Finalize into a single finished object, or Keep Parts as separate objects.
The panel only shows controls that apply to the wheel you picked. For example, lug options appear only on car-style wheels, and spoke and cassette options appear only on laced wheels. Reset To Presets restores every value (hardware, tread tuning, materials) to the selected presets at any time, while keeping your sidewall text and tick boxes.

Treads: 44 Parametric Patterns
Treads are generated from geometry, not normal maps. Every pattern is built from real ribs, straight or zigzag circumferential grooves, slanted and curved lateral grooves, and sipes. Blocks have chamfered edges and drafted walls, and they wrap over the shoulder and fade into the sidewall like a moulded tire.
Patterns auto-fit any size, from a 23 mm road bike tire to a 50-inch airliner tire. The number of tread repeats comes from the tire's circumference, and the groove layout scales to the tread width.
Automotive treads
| Tread | Character |
|---|---|
| All-Season Touring | Four straight grooves, siped centre rib, slanted shoulder blocks |
| Summer Performance | Asymmetric: wide solid inner ribs, big outer shoulder blocks |
| UHP All-Season | Curved lateral grooves and a solid centre rib |
| Directional V | Swept V-shaped grooves that channel water away |
| Rain Channel | Wide centre aqua-channel with swept directional grooves |

| Track Semi-Slick | 200TW-style track tire: two grooves, solid ribs, notched shoulders |
| Slick / Racing | Smooth racing slick |
Plus 7 motorcycle, 8 bicycle, 6 industrial and 5 aviation treads (see Vehicle Classes above).
Each tread preset also shapes the tire's cross-section to suit it (crown, shoulder radius, sidewall bulge, tread width), so an off-road tire looks square, a touring tire looks rounded and a motorcycle tire has a full round crown.
Tread fine-tuning
- Tread depth (the overall diameter is kept true to size)
- Pitch length and exact pitch count
- Groove width scale
- Block edge chamfer
- Sipes on / off
- Detail level: Low (game-ready), Medium, or High (close-up renders)
Bring your own tread
- 3D Mesh: tile any mesh you model as a tread block around the tire, with rotation, depth scale, spacing and multiple bands across the width.
- Normal Map: a smooth, low-poly tread band carrying a tiled normal map, ideal for games.
- Mesh + Normal: real 3D blocks with a normal map on top for extra fine detail.
Wheels: 37 Designs
Every wheel is made to fit the tire: its bead-seat diameter and width come straight from the tire size. Cast and stamped wheels are a single watertight shell with a real rim cross-section: lip, J-flange, tapered bead seats, safety humps and drop-centre well. Bicycle rims get a proper hooked or hookless rim section, and industrial wheels get a flat-base rim.

Wheel controls
- Offset (ET): low and negative offsets produce a genuine deep lip
- 16 bolt patterns: 4x100, 4x114.3, 5x100, 5x108, 5x110, 5x112, 5x114.3, 5x120, 5x127, 5x130, 5x139.7, 6x135, 6x139.7, 8x165.1, 8x170, 8x180
- Centre bore
- Face concavity
- Spoke width
- Spoke count override (turn any cast design into a 3- to 20-spoke variant, or change the spoke count on laced wheels)
- Mesh resolution
Built like the real thing
- Every window, fork slot, vent and lug pocket is wrapped in edge loops with a rolled front edge (fillet), plus support loops on the walls. Smooth shading, no pinching.
- Spokes have a soft crown and fillets that blend smoothly into the hub pad and outer ring.
- Motorcycle, bicycle and aircraft wheels are built around a centred hub and axle instead of a car's offset mounting face.
- A two-tone "machined face" finish can be applied to the forward-facing surfaces, while pockets and round-overs stay painted.
Centre Caps
Car-style wheels get a centre cap in one of 5 styles:
| Style | Look |
|---|---|
| Classic Dome | Domed cap with an accent ring |
| Ringed | Raised outer ring around a recessed, stepped centre |
| Flat Badge | Flat face with a raised border |
| Smooth Dome | Plain smooth dome |
| Hex Off-Road | Hexagonal off-road cap |
-
Logo / branding on the Ringed, Flat Badge and Hex caps:
- Brand: your sidewall brand text
- Text: any custom text
- Object: any mesh you model, automatically centred and resized to fit the cap. Flat shapes like a filled circle or a traced logo are given a little thickness so they stay solid.
- The cap body and its ring / emblem area each have their own finish, so you can mix chrome, paint and anodised colours.
Hardware
-
Lug nuts in 6 styles, placed on the selected bolt pattern:
- Acorn (Closed): classic conical-seat nut with a chamfered hex and domed top
- Open-End: hex nut with the threaded stud showing through
- Spline Tuner: slim fluted tuner nut
- Lug Bolt: European-style bolt head with an integrated washer
- Mag Shank: flat-seat nut with a washer and long shank, for classic wheels
- Spiked: acorn nut with a long conical spike, for truck / off-road styling
- Centre cap in 5 styles with optional logo (see above)
- Valve stem: a snap-in car valve angled through a window, or a Presta / Schrader valve on bicycle rims
- Beadlock ring with a full circle of washered bolts (on any car-style wheel)
- Assembly rivets around the lip on multi-piece designs, and tie bolts on split industrial and aircraft wheels
- Axle and axle nut on motorcycle, industrial and aircraft wheels
- Bicycle cassette: an 11-speed toothed sprocket stack for rear wheels
Every hardware item can be toggled on or off, and "Reset To Presets" brings it all back to the wheel's defaults.
Brakes
Brakes are built as a separate object, so the caliper can stay still while the wheel spins in an animation.

Shader detail
-
Rubber:
- separate sidewall and tread materials
- micro-texture bump and roughness break-up
- soft sheen, and an optional tire-shine coat
- white-letter, whitewall and tanwall rubber
-
Paint and metal:
- clear coat with subtle orange peel, and metallic flake sparkle
- bright mirror chrome, smoked black chrome and anodised colours
- machined lathe rings with anisotropic highlights
- woven carbon fibre under a clear coat
- brake dust in occluded areas
- Brakes: machined cast-iron rotor faces with procedural drilling and slots, a subtle heat tint, a darker rotor hat, and gloss-painted calipers.
Everything is 100% procedural: no image files, nothing to relink. Finalized tires get their own copies of every material, so building the next tire never changes one you've already finished.
Weathering
Take any build from showroom-fresh to well-used with a few sliders, layered on top of any material look:
- Mud: caked mud that collects in the tread grooves and lower sidewall
- Dust: a dry dust film over the rubber
- Wet: darker, glossier rubber
- Tread Wear: worn, dulled tread. This also lowers the actual tread blocks in the geometry.
- Wheel Mud: mud splatter on the wheel
- Brake Dust: grime in the wheel's crevices
Sidewall Detail
-
Raised lettering on both sidewalls, reading correctly from each side like a real moulded tire:
- your brand
- a model name (your own, or named after the tread)
- the tire size, plus RADIAL, TUBELESS and M+S where appropriate
- Sidewall styles: Blackwall, Raised White Letters, Whitewall, or Tanwall / Gumwall.
- Sidewall relief: fine mould rings, plus a rim-protector rib above the flange on car and truck tires.
-
Custom sidewall markings (unlimited):
- Text in any font
- Stamp: any mesh object (logos, badges, patterns)
- Image: greyscale height maps displaced into real geometry (raised or engraved), or normal-map decals
- Each marking can be placed on either side or both, positioned, rotated and scaled, repeated around the tire, or wrapped all the way round as a seamless band
Vent Spews (Mould Hairs)
New tires come out of the mould covered in tiny rubber hairs, one of the strongest cues that a tire is real. Wheel and Tire Pro places them the way real moulds are vented:
-
Realistic (Mould Vents) layout:
- about one vent per tread block, with big lugs getting more
- evenly spaced vent rings on both sidewalls
- scales automatically with tire size and tread, typically 650 to 1,250+ hairs on a car tire
- Hairs sit on the actual surface: block tops, groove floors, shoulders and even lettering.
- Controls: density, areas (tread, shoulder, sidewall), length and length variation, thickness, tip taper, lean, side count and random seed.
- A Random Scatter mode with a fixed hair count is also available.
Full Manual Control (Advanced)
Below Quick Setup, every part of the build can be tuned by hand. Each panel only shows the controls that apply to your class and wheel:
- Weathering: mud, dust, wet, tread wear, wheel mud and brake dust
- Tire Size: section width, overall diameter, rim diameter, rim width
- Tread: pattern tuning, or switch to your own mesh tile / normal map
- Crown: crown drop and shape across the tread
- Shoulder / Sidewall: shoulder radius, sidewall bulge, upper and lower curve
- Bead / Casing: bead width and casing thickness
- Wheel: design, offset, bolt pattern, bore, concavity, spokes, resolution, hardware, lug style, beadlock, centre cap style and logo, cassette
- Brakes: package, caliper style, rotor style, two-piece rotor, caliper logo
- Materials: rubber look, sidewall style and a finish for every wheel and hardware part
- Wheel Barrel (Barrel Only mode): fit-to-tire or manual size, flange height, bevel and shape, drop centre, front and rear lip, wall thickness, segments
- Sidewall Markings: text, stamps and image imprints
- Tire Body: resolution around the tire and across the cross-section
- Options: weld seams, smooth shading and auto-smooth angle
- Vent Spews: layout, density and hair shape
- UVs: a seamed unwrap (bead openings plus a single cut) or Smart UV Project, applied on Finalize or on demand
Finishing and Workflow
- Live preview: every change rebuilds instantly so you can dial in a look by eye.
- Studio Lighting: one click sets up a lit scene using one of 8 built-in environments (Studio, Courtyard, City, Sunset, Sunrise, Forest, Interior, Night). Your existing World is kept.
- Finalize: joins the tire, wheel, hardware and (optionally) brakes into one finished object with its origin at the axle centre, ready to duplicate across a vehicle. The builder then starts fresh for the next tire.
- Keep Parts: keeps the tire, wheel and brakes as separate objects, parented together.
- Real-world scale: built in metres with centimetre display, so wheels drop straight into your vehicle at the right size.
- Clean topology: the wheel face is all quads with edge loops around every opening, and every wheel is watertight. Tread blocks are closed solids with structured quad tops.
