DOCUMENTATION
This product includes written and visual documentation covering installation, basic usage and implementation of the Wire & Cable IMM Curve Brushes.
ZBRUSH INSTALLATION
1. Extract the downloaded product files.
2. Locate the supplied ZBrush brush files.
3. Load or install the IMM Curve Brushes in ZBrush.
4. Select the desired wire brush.
5. Draw a curve along the surface where you want to place the wire.
IMM CURVE WORKFLOW
The repeating geometry automatically follows the curve.
After drawing the wire you can adjust:
• Curve shape
• Position
• Scale
• Brush size
• Orientation
• Placement
The Curve workflow allows the wire geometry to be quickly adapted to characters, props, mechanical elements and environments.
SUBDIVISION WORKFLOW
The supplied geometry supports subdivision while maintaining the intended design.
For an efficient workflow:
1. Work with the base geometry while adjusting the wire.
2. Define the final position and proportions.
3. Add subdivision when additional smoothness or resolution is required.
BLENDER WORKFLOW
Editable source geometry is included for Blender workflows.
Basic workflow:
1. Import or open the supplied geometry.
2. Select the wire mesh you want to use.
3. Edit or scale the source mesh if required.
4. Use the geometry directly or combine it with Blender curves and modifiers.
5. Define the desired path.
6. Adjust scale, orientation and repetition.
7. Modify the resulting geometry according to your project.
The source meshes can also be used as starting points for creating your own custom wire and cable variations.
