Built for customizability

The whole point of the shader is customizability. All important parameters that you would want to control are exposed in the Material Properties Window on the right of you Blender UI. That means you won't have to dive into the Shader Editor - all you need to do is enable or disable layers in the shader, and dial in parameters to your taste!

Load in your own images and videos as an FX layer!

Since version 1.7, the shader brings a brand new FX layer (and Mask layer) to the X-ray and Hologram Shader - it is now possible to load in your own images and videos into the material, allowing for even more customization. You can pan and rotate this node as well, procedurally, without any keyframes. Or not, it is all up to you! 

To get you started, the X-Ray and Hologram Shader Pack now also comes with 5 home made high quality looping animated smoke textures that you can load into the Image node. These are part of https://blendermarket.com/products/4k-animated-grayscale-texture-loops
