π ZenRake β Procedural Zen Garden Raking for Blender
Still raking mesh zen gardens by hand? Stop. ZenRake generates clean, animatable patterns procedurally β so you spend your time on the art, not the arrangement.
Built for archviz, motion design, and stylized environments where the surface needs to feel intentional, not modeled.
π New in this version
- Moss and two plant types included.
- Black gravel added alongside the existing white.
- Reworked gravel β more realistic scale and texture.
β¨ What it does
- Procedural and fully animation-friendly. Every parameter is a slider or keyframe β animate ripples, growth, or pattern shifts.
- Adaptive waves around objects. Drop in a stone or lantern and rake lines flow around it automatically, matching the silhouette.
- Pattern variety. Straight lines, waves, or flat β overlap them, blend them, or layer them however the scene calls for.
- Curve object support. Add custom rake paths with curves for that hand-finished touch.
- Textures, instances, or both. Procedural textures, instanced gravel, or a blend. Drop in your own gravel collection from the modifier settings.
- Camera culling. Heavy scenes stay light β visibility is handled for both meshes and instances.
- Viewport vs render control. Different subdivision and detail levels for each, so the viewport stays responsive without compromising the final render.
- Shader-ready output. Pipe the texture output into the shader editor to build your own materials on top.
