Adc Automotive FX
Does it work with Cycles and EEVEE?
Yes. Every effect runs entirely in the Compositor after the render, so it's completely engine-agnostic.
What's the difference between Lens Distortion and Lens Distortion Pro?
Lens Distortion is a simple single-slider barrel/pincushion effect. Lens Distortion Pro derives the distortion curve from an actual Focal Length value (Brown-Conrady-style model) and couples Chromatic Fringing to the same radial field, like real lens dispersion.
What's the difference between Vignette and Vignette Pro?
Vignette is Blender's simple official compositor asset. Vignette Pro adds separate Size/Softness controls, a Roundness slider that goes from a true circle to a frame-matching ellipse (or beyond), and a proper Exponent for a real cos⁴-style falloff curve.
Does the preview in the viewport match the final render?
Yes, all effects read the render's actual resolution, so a 50%-resolution viewport preview matches a full-resolution final render.
Can I stack multiple effects together?
Yes. Add any combination in any order — each one automatically wires itself into the stack, and removing one automatically reconnects the chain around it. No manual node work needed.
Does this bake anything to textures or geometry?
No. Everything is 100% procedural inside the Compositor node tree. Nothing is baked, nothing is written to disk, and removing an effect leaves your scene exactly as it was.
Why does the Cryptomatte picker say "Passes Not Supported"?
That means no Cryptomatte data exists yet for the current Render Result — it's a Blender/scene state issue, not something the add-on controls. Enable the Asset pass, make sure you're on the correct View Layer, and render a fresh frame (F12) before picking the object.
Do I need extra render passes for this to work?
No, not for most effects — they only need the regular Image output. The exception is the Object Only / Behind Object mode on Pixel Stretch, Synthwave, X-Ray and Wire Color, which needs the Cryptomatte Asset pass enabled (Render Properties > Passes > Cryptomatte). See the Documentation tab for the exact steps.
Does it work on Windows, macOS, and Linux?
Yes, it's a pure Python/Blender add-on with no platform-specific dependencies.
I found a bug or have a feature request, where do I go?
Use Contact the creator on this product page. Include your Blender version, a screenshot of the effect's panel, and (if relevant) the System Console output, that's usually enough to track down the issue quickly.
Is there a free version?
Yes,see the download link at the bottom of this page, or follow @joinadc on Instagram.
