Which ZIP file should I install?
Use Arabic_Text_Pro_Legacy-1.0.0.zip for Blender 3.4 to 4.1. Use arabic_text_pro-1.0.0.zip for Blender 4.2 to 5.2. Install only the package that matches your Blender version.
What is the difference between Native Text and Vector Curves?
Native Text creates a Blender FONT object for Blender’s normal text workflow, including extrude and bevel controls. Vector Curves creates editable outline curves for booleans, custom modeling, animation, mesh conversion, and Geometry Nodes.
Which fonts work with Arabic Text Pro?
All Arabic support relies on an installed .ttf or .otf font that includes the Arabic letters, diacritics, numerals, and ligatures needed for your text. If a character is missing, use the vector insert or choose a font with better Arabic glyph coverage.
Why do my vector letters look mirrored?
Counter-Flip RTL Glyphs is disabled by default. Enable it and create the curves again if your Blender version or selected font produces horizontally mirrored vector glyphs.
why do repeated curve letters have .001 or .002 after their names?
Every imported curve is named after its source character. Blender requires object names to be unique, so it automatically adds .001, .002, and similar suffixes when the same character occurs more than once.
an I use Arabic, English, and numbers in the same text?
Yes. Arabic Text Pro is designed for Arabic, English, numbers, and mixed right-to-left/left-to-right phrases.
Do I need an internet connection to install dependencies?
No. Both packages include their required dependency wheels. The Extension package prepares them automatically during installation. Legacy Add-on users click Install Dependencies once after enabling the add-on, then restart Blender.
Does Arabic Text Pro support Blender 5.1 and 5.2?
Yes. The Extension package is intended for Blender 4.2 through 5.2, including Blender 5.1. Blender 3.4 through 4.1 users should install the Legacy Add-on package.
Vector Curves says the SVG importer is unavailable. What should I do?
Enable Blender’s SVG Import-Export or Import SVG feature for your Blender version, then try again. Native Text creation does not require the SVG importer.
