Will Asset Shot permanently change my camera, object visibility, or transforms?
No. Temporary capture changes such as framing, visibility, normalization, camera state, and viewport settings are restored after the shot.
What happens if my Blend file has not been saved yet?
Asset Shot temporarily stores the generated previews in Blender’s temporary folder. After the Blend file is saved, the previews can be moved beside the project and reloaded automatically.
Will Asset Shot create duplicate assets when I update a preview?
No. If the selected Object or Collection is already marked as an asset, Asset Shot updates its preview instead of creating a duplicate asset.
