The one-star review is pretty sure just spam; ignore it. I am giving it a 5-star rating to make up for it. Gosh, that one-star review didn't even go into anything. I believe this add-on is great, though. I've tested it, and it delivers results comparable to manual baking.

Addon is great and unlike SimpleBake it actually works instead of just freezing Blender. The only thing I can't figure out whatsoever - how to keep the source materials when I bake from them? For example I have an object with 3 materials applied to different parts of it. Whenever I bake using AutoBaker2, it creates one material in the resulting cloned object merging them all together. I don't need it. I need to keep all 3 materials as they are and just bake them so they are not procedural anymore. I tried using "Queue Gate" option in Material tab but it doesn't do anything.

Thank you so much for your feedback, Max!
The Queue Gate option has a different purpose. You can read about it here: https://tsybe.gitbook.io/auto-bake/documentation/user-manual/elements/material#queue-gate
As you noticed, the materials are merged for the final (cloned) object, which is intentional. The principle is that since it is the final baked version of the original object, with everything needed baked and the textures applied, all materials look the same; hence, they are merged.
If your workflow has a specific reason, do not hesitate to contact me with details on why you want to keep the materials separated, so it can become an option. Looking forward to it!
Really great time saver. i'd really recommend this for anyone who has found themselves baking the textures to an asset, realising the bake didn't come out right then having to rebake - this is the absolute WORST if you are working with materials with metallic properties 😤
I'm using this on 4.5.4 and having just completed a job where i had to bake 26 unique HP to LP assets + textures, i wish i had bought this prior. The hover-tooltips make figuring out what is going on really simple and the tutorial/overview video by ryankingart helps out too. i also love that you can set up the naming system to a consistent style
my only gripes/asks (not big enough gripes to warrant this being 4 stars) are:
- the "Final > material" doesn't seem to work properly (although this could be my fault)
- is there a way to set up a "default settings" for the add-on so that all the preferences i set for a bake on one model can be fetched in a new blender file?
tldr best AND simplest (while also most versatile) baking add-on i've ever used

Thank you, Andy! I really appreciate your kind words and detailed review. Please don't hesitate to contact me, I'd be happy to help you with the final material and the modification of the default settings. Hope to talk soon!
Huge timesaver, and specifically this a great helper for combining many materials into one, eg from many meshes to a single atlas.

Thank you, Hiroren! Great to hear it’s working well for you!
This is the baking tool i've been searching for! it supports materials created with Fluent Materializer and all materials i collected in different asset packs, plenty of customization option, while clear in its first usage, clean texture results. Its just great!

I’m really glad you like it, Gideon! Thank you for the kind words, I hope it continues to serve you well!
Perfect for quickly baking texture atlases for three.js scenes.
Do you want to share your model but the material setup is hella complicated that it's such a pain to bake it one by one? Then this add-on is really for you. Essentially, if you have one object but it has multiple materials attached to it, you can easily bake them all into one for each part (color, roughness, normals, etc.) at a desired resolution! It can also bake multiple objects (and each object has 2 or more materials) at once! So it's really saving your time by automatically setting up the baking process and automatically export the textures.
A delight to use. I like that the add on is integrated into the actual Blender Render Menu. One less Addon tab to clutter up the main view.
