Does Auto Format crop or export the separate versions for me?
No. It sets one render resolution that holds every ticked format and draws a guide frame for each one, so you can compose the shot for all of them. You render once, then crop each version out of the frames in Blender's compositor or your editing software.
Does it work with Cycles, EEVEE and other render engines?**
Yes. Auto Format only changes the scene's output settings: resolution, Resolution % (set to 100) and pixel aspect (set to 1). It works with any render engine, and Ctrl Z undoes the change.
Will the guide frames show up in my renders?
No. Guides are viewport overlays only. They are drawn in camera view while Overlays are on and never appear in renders. Clear Guides removes them.
