Blockd: Grid Blockout for Level Design
Blockd exports standard FBX and glTF files. The Export panel has presets for Unreal Engine and Unity, and Godot imports the glTF export. With collision on, Unreal gets convex UCX_ pieces in one file per piece, and Godot gets -col meshes. Any engine that imports FBX or glTF works.
Blender 4.2 LTS and later. Blockd 1.2 is tested in Blender 4.2 LTS and 5.2 LTS on macOS, Windows and Linux.
Yes. Once you change a shape in Edit Mode, Blockd stops rebuilding it from its parameters, so your edits are never overwritten. The Shape panel then lets you keep the edits as a regular mesh or reset the shape to its parameters.
Shapes are simple meshes. Object snapping in the draw tool was tested with 3,000 objects: each mouse move takes 1.3 ms at most. Live boolean cutters are recalculated as you work, so bake finished pieces if the viewport slows down.
Your purchase includes 12 months of support and updates. After that, you can renew for another 12 months at half the current price.
Contact us through the Blockd product page on Superhive. Please include your Blender version and, for bugs, the steps that cause the problem.
