Can I put my own artwork on the box?
Yes. Export the UV template (SVG or PNG, outside and inside), design on top of it, then load your image onto either face from the Artwork panel. A UV check grid helps you verify the placement. The UV layout is square, so non-square artwork is stretched.
Do I need Boxwright installed to open or animate a finalized box?
No. Finalize and Build Rig bakes a normal mesh plus an armature with driver-free controls. The .blend opens and animates on any machine, with or without the add-on, and with Python auto-run disabled.
Is the UV template a production dieline?
No. The UV template is an artwork guide with panel outlines, crease lines and labels. It has no millimetre scale, no bleed and no cut/crease layers for a die maker. Boxwright is built for mockups, renders and animation.
Which Blender versions are supported?
Blender 5.0 or newer. Boxwright is tested on 5.0, 5.1 and 5.2 LTS. Blender 4.x is not supported.
