How do I change the display style of controllers?
Adjust "Default Display Type" (e.g., arrows, cubes) or override per-controller in the Camera
Management panel.
Why is performance slow with many cameras?
Disable "Real-time Updates" in the Performance section.
Increase the "Batch Size" to reduce Ul lag during updates.
Can I save my camera settings as presets?
Yes! Use the Presets section in the Advanced panel to save/load configurations.
How do I delete all generated cameras?
Click "Clear All" to remove cameras, controllers, and the custom collection.
What's the difference between individual and master controllers?
Individual Controllers: Each camera has its own empty for separate control.
Master Controller: One empty controls all cameras (linked as children).
How do I animate cameras?
Use the "Bake Animation" operator to auto-keyframe camera movements.
Manually keyframe transforms via the Camera Management panel.
Why do my cameras disappear in renders?
Ensure "Render Enabled" is checked for each camera (or globally in the main settings).
Can I customize individual camera settings?
Yes! Expand a camera in the Camera Management panel to override focal length, DOF, clipping, etc.
How do I control all cameras at once?
Use the "Create Master Controller" button. This creates a single empty to transform all cameras
simultaneously.
Why aren't cameras being generated when I click the button?
Ensure:
• A mesh object is selected.
• The mesh has vertices/edges/faces (depending on your selected element type).
• The "Selected Elements Only" option isn't enabled if nothing is selected.
How can I filter cameras to only downward-facing normals?
Enable "Use Angle Filter" in the Generation Settings and adjust the "Normal Angle Filter" (e.g., 0° =
straight down, 180° = straight up).
How do I install the Camera Mesh add-on?
Go to Edit > Preferences > Add-ons, click "Install," and select the downloaded • py file. Enable the
add-on afterward.
