Yes. Enter Edit Mode, select a connected edge or edge path and click Generate Chain. The selected chain will automatically follow the generated curve.
Does each version have the same functionality?
Yes. The editions primarily differ in the size of the included asset library.

There are three editions: Starter — 12 assets Lite — 100 assets Full — 253 assets The Full Edition contains the complete Chain Generator library.
