I purchased 3 addons from Lewis. While True Depth and Light Wrangler are well maintained, Cinepack has some unresolved issues in Blender v5.0-5.2. Draw path and Start Record isn't working (gives an error), moreover, Start recording leads to a total disaster in Blender. You can't exit with Esc key and the animation keeps going. I addressed the issue on Discord but no answer for 3 months now. Is this addon being discontinued? If yes why is it listed as compatible with Blender 5.x versions?

This addon is very useful. However, Mac users may find it frustrating because it's impossible to preview camera moves as you can on Windows. This wasn't an issue three years ago, and I really miss that feature.

Hi thank you so much for the review! I have since fixed that issue in a update a few months back, please try it and let me know how you get on. Kind regards, Lewis.

Hi there. I waited a few days to see if support would show any signs of life… but apparently it’s on some kind of top‑secret mission, because it never appeared. In the end, I had to go to YouTube where —ironically— I found the explanation the creator doesn’t bother to provide.
I regret buying this addon; it follows the classic “Cinepack Edition” philosophy: sell, vanish, and of course, never update a single thing.
A wonderful addon if you enjoy paying for a product and then doing the support work yourself.
    Cheers.

Cannot find blend file in directory. Directories filepaths are proper.

      Hi
You need to make sure that you set the 'assets' folder as the asset directory under the add on preferences. Otherwise the addon can't find the camera moves.

      Hope that helps.

Cannot Install. Tried reaching out to the developor for help. (his status says active) I cannot install and recieving "Missing Manifest" message. Have no choice but to request a refund as I went on Youtube, tried to install as an "extension" and deleted Blender 5.1, reinstalled it, and re-downloaded the add-on. Unfortunately nothing has worked and cannot get add-on to even install.
