Copyrender

kunemann in Rendering

What gets copied

CopyRender captures the scene's render engine, its render settings (resolution, output path, file format, FFmpeg and stereo output), color management (view transform, display and sequencer colorspace) and the Cycles and Eevee engine settings. Only writable values are read. On paste, each value is matched back by name, so settings your Blender version doesn't recognize are skipped instead of throwing an error.

Copy and paste
01
Open Properties > Render and find the CopyRender panel.
02
Click Copy Render Settings — the setup is written to your clipboard as JSON.
03
Switch to the target scene or open another .blend.
04
Click Paste Render Settings to apply it.
05
You can also right-click in the 3D Viewport or Outliner for the same Copy and Paste entries.
Sync through a shared file
01
In the Sync via File box, click Save Settings to File and pick a .json location.
02
In each other .blend, click Load & Link Settings File and choose that file — it applies immediately and links the path.
03
Leave Apply on Open enabled so the file re-applies every time the .blend opens.
04
After editing the shared file, click Apply Now to re-read and re-apply it without reopening.
Clipboard on macOS

Copy and paste use Blender's own clipboard. On macOS, if Blender's clipboard doesn't carry the full payload, CopyRender falls back to the system pbcopy and pbpaste so nothing is truncated on the way through.
