Will the dimensions show up in my web viewer or AR app?
Yes. The lines, arrows and text are all exported as standard mesh geometry inside the GLB file, with no fonts or plugins needed. They display in any glTF viewer, including Three.js, Babylon.js, , Sketchfab and AR viewers. Use the Export GLB button to export the model and its dimensions together in one file.
How is DimTag different from Blender's built-in MeasureIt?
MeasureIt draws dimensions as a viewport overlay. They aren't real geometry, so they don't appear in your GLB exports, and rendering them takes extra steps. DimTag creates real mesh geometry, so dimensions render in Cycles and Eevee like any other object and export with your model. It also works in one click: select a floor and DimTag finds the room outline, dimensions every wall and adds the area automatically.
