My "Liquids in Blender" tutorial has 317,000+ views, and the comments are full of the same questions: "I baked it but I don't see any water." "The liquid goes through my glass." "How did you color the water?"
So I built the tool I wish everyone had. Easy Liquids sets up Blender's liquid simulation for you and checks for the usual mistakes before you bake.
What you get
- Pour: a stream of liquid pours into your glass, cup or bowl. Set the speed, size, height and duration.
- Fill: the container starts full. Animate it and the liquid sloshes for real.
- Instant Fill: a still liquid that renders right away with no bake, good for product shots.
- 12 liquid presets: Water, Juice, Coffee, Wine, Beer, Cocktail, Milk, Oil, Honey, Serum, Paint, Slime. Each has its own material and thickness.
- 8 ready-made containers: Bowl, Glass, Mug, Wine Glass, Cocktail Glass, Jar, Vase, Plate.
- Your own objects: pick any mesh with the eyedropper. The add-on checks that it has no holes, so liquid doesn't leak out.
- Fix My Simulation: one button finds and fixes the common problems (Replay cache, unapplied scale, a stream too small for the resolution, leaking thin walls, flipped normals). It works on hand-made setups too.
- Studio Scene: curved backdrop, soft three-point lighting, a framed camera and Cycles settings tuned for glass and liquid, in one click.
- Custom resolution and slow motion for final shots, plus Preview / Medium / Final presets and spray and foam particles.
This is the full version of Easy Liquids, with every liquid, container and feature unlocked, plus all future updates.
Requirements & install
Blender 4.2 or newer, built and tested on Blender 5.2. Uses Blender's built-in Mantaflow solver, so there's nothing else to install.
Drag the .zip into Blender (or Edit > Preferences > Get Extensions > Install from Disk), then open the Liquids tab in the 3D Viewport sidebar (N).
