What license does it use?
Easy-Print is licensed under GPL-3.0-or-later.
Does it require extra Python packages?
No external Python dependencies are required.
Does Easy-Print guarantee that every model will print?
No. It checks or attempts to repair watertightness and exports the results, but you should review the meshes, clearances, slicer settings, and physical fit before printing.
Can I add magnets after cutting?
Yes, when Easy-Print has a valid connector result pair, or when exactly two valid mesh halves are selected. The magnet operation stages both halves together.
What happens if I enter a large explicit Tab height on a curved seam?
The value is not silently clamped. The actual Boolean validation remains the safety gate, so an unsafe placement can be rejected.
Which connectors work on curved seams?
Only Tab & Slot, Peg & Hole, and Ball & Socket support curved seams. Dovetail and Bolt & Nut require a planar cut.
What Blender version do I need?
Blender 4.2.0 or newer is required. Core workflows have been tested on Blender 4.2.23 LTS, 4.5.9 LTS, and 5.2.1 LTS. GUI modal workflows have not been exhaustively tested across every listed version.
Can I cut a model along a curved surface?
Yes. Surface Curve Cut lets you draw and adjust a freehand loop on the model surface before cutting.
