How do I create 52 ARKit shapekeys is this not what this plugin is?
The faceit plugin is designed to add a facial rig and 52 shapekeys for you. This plugin is made to assist after those are created to apply a emotional animation layer over your facial capture. Your raw facial capture sometimes doesn't look good requiring you to painstakingly animate more expression. This plugin is designed to create the emotional expressions for you and help you animate it.
Will this destroy my animation for my character?
This creates 58 fresh emotional shapekeys from the 52 ARKit shapekeys that can be easily animated through the plugin. It will not interfere with any animation and this plugin is designed to overlay and mix with your facial capture.
