  Very useful addon. I used to assign vertex colors using default Blender tools. This was very time consuming when you need to apply vertex colors on a sub-object level. Each time I had to go into the edit mode, select the vertices/faces where I needed to apply the vertex color, then switch to vertex color mode etc. etc. It was very difficult and time consuming when you have to do this on multiple objects, for example on LODs.
  The Fast Vertex Color addon removes the necessity to go into edit mode and you can directly apply the colors in object mode itself. Also creating color swatches is a fantastic option. Now I am able to apply vertex colors on a sub-object level without ever going into vertex color mode.
  I haven't used the bake option yet, but so far nice work!! Love it!!

  Very useful tool indeed for assigning vertex colours to selected faces and managing those colours across a model. Particularly useful for complex models where it is a great time saver. By far the best ID mapping tool I have come across, and I have used several.
